Title: India General Elections 2014 predictions
Post by: sagarparekh on August 30, 2011, 12:57:15 PM
(https://s27.postimg.cc/5h78n34zn/2014_elections_india.jpg)Looking at the current political scenario in our country, there is a sense in the country that there isnt any political party that is good for us. If this sentiment is carried forward to 2014 General elections then I wonder as to what would be the outcome.  I read somewhere that the chances of BJP are bright but still I tend to believe that the astrologer who predicted it had a leaning towards BJP.

Can we please have a prediction here as to which political party would come to power in 2014?

I think India future depends on coalition governments only becoz no single party is forming govt now a days. BJP may have little edge

Whatever it is, Congress can\'t win the coming Elections. They\'ve got that much good name in this period with constant price raise in Petroleum Products and for that matter, in everything. Also lots of corruption cases. Above all Anna Hazare matter.

But BJP is also not fit enough to rule the country. If some other 3rd party forms a government like the one formed by IK Gujral in late 90s, that will be much better for the nation. Let\'s see what happens.

Some of the big corporates like reliance, essar, adani tc are favouring Modi  this time. So he and bjp have greater chance of forming the govt this time. We have reached a stage where the govt and the opposition are both the same, working for the big corporates profit and taking a share. Corruption continues irrespective ofthe party ruling. Just hoping that kejriwal and Anna Hazare are able to awake the sense of responsibility of the voters and they elect good people rather than vote for their own petty gains.

Delhi seems to be tricky isn't it ? recent survey polls suggest that Arvind kejriwal is eating into a lot of votes for either parties .

Lot of chaos is happening all over the country before running for India General Elections 2014. I mean controversial interviews and more of unrest situations in southern states like Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. Under these circumstances shall we have stable governments before 2018 in states and overall country?

In states like Andhra Pradesh, elections on 30th march are little favorable to congress and completely anti to them on 7th May.
TDP will sweep majority seats from places where elections are conducted on 7th may and congress will be wiped out.
At national level, its hard to predict as there are multiple dates for elections and multiple parties, alliances etc.
May be we need to look at 16th May 2014 to predict final result, as counting is done on that date

There are multiple dates for elections across the country, so its almost impossible to judge who is going to win max seats ultimately.

I thought of an alternative idea :
Counting will be done only on may 16th for all seats, so we can take charts of 2 major parties : Congress (sitting govt, so its Asc in 2nd method) and BJP (oppn, so its Dsc) and from 7am till 6pm, we can calculate similar to ODI match to know which party/coalition leads in which round and ultimately who gets max seats.

You can try this method if you know charts of 2 people who are fighting to win in your constituency.
If you dont know charts, then you can consider sitting MLA/MP as Asc

@virinchi master,

Even though congress is the ruling party in AP, it is almost out of equation here. Now it has come to TDP+BJP alliance versus YSRcp. Who is to be considered as Asc here?

In the case of a triangular contest (1 ruling party, 1 opposition, 1 new party or independent), how can we solve this puzzle with transit moon sub method?

in which date are you living ?

I mean to say that the most recent ruling party in AP "was" congress. It is almost demolished now.
Who is to be considered as Asc now?

what do you mean by 'demolished' ?
what Virinchi means is that in president(governer's) rule, no party is Asc.
in such cases, go by party charts

By demolished I mean it is not all in contest with other regional parties in Andhra (not in Telangana).

This is an experimental calculation based on K.P horary. I've done this for first time, so need to wait till 16th noon and confirm the method.

I'm no astrologer.I merely work on hunches.I had a hunch that BJP+allies would get around 320 seats.
Let's hope this government does well.

I think my idea and method were right but execution and prediction posting was wrong.
I estimated 16:9 ratio for NDA:others but i posted as NDA:UPA and neglected others like AIDMK, AITC, TRS, communists etc who won more than 100 seats among themselves.
Now out of 543 lok sabha seats, (16x543)/(16+9) = 341 and NDA is getting close to 340 (335 as of now)

This is useful experience. Will be helpful to be more accurate in future elections.
Also in Andhra, i got 107 for TDP+BJP and now i see 106 seats which is almost close.
I estimated 55+ seats for TRS in telangana but forgot to post it and now they got almost 63(?)

Great Prediction Sir :)
Vrinchi , As you mentioned Narendera Modi is having death threat or health issues or other parties letting him down. Now there is Only One Major Party will rule Which is BJP. So chances are a few that other parties will letting him down.
Is it death threat or health issue will be cause? Will Jaylalita take charge after that?
Can Indian youth that is so much excited and optimistic for NaMo ( Achey Din Aane Wale Hai flick ) Will be ruined? Or we can expect something great atleast better thn congress party.
Can you throw some light on NaMo as PM :)

VGR Pavan was a failure in implementing K.P for cricket matches too.
He tried vedic method initially, failed multiple times and then must have read accurate posts of k.p astrologers here and tried to copy them but again failed.
Now he tried to project Vijayamma as andhra CM and again failed.

Even the famous Mulugu siddhanti who talks on TV said that Narendra Modi cannot become PM and Jagan will have good days from 2014 and can become CM of andhra.
Everybody except Virinchi & Apparao and voters of AP are proved wrong
