Can natal chart of a person indicate his alcoholic habits ??

I mean whether he is heavy alcoholic, Occasionally alcoholic or teetotaler.

influenced 2nd house by either of above planets will cause it.
saturn+rahu also causes smoking

why do we correlate alcoholic habits to 2nd house ?

Using modern astrology I have found Neptune plays a big part in alcoholism within my own family.  I rarely drink because I feared becoming an alcoholic.  Now at age 57 I feel safe.

Neptune in the first house (lagna) was what I saw in my family as a common denominator or close to the ascendant.

venus rules liquor. benefic or malefic and strength decides your choice between premium scotch to cheap liqour

Liquor is considered a comfort as it goves you a temporary soothing feeling.
All comforts are ruled by Venus. 2nd house is your face/mouth/nose, so it determines what addictions you have (smoke/alchohol).
Saturn, Rahu make you addictive

I know 2 horoscopes with neptune in 5th and 6th houses respectively.
Both are chronic alchoholic.
One of the died recently in mid-30s due to liver failure. 2nd guy is of same age but started to look older already.
Both have either venus or saturn in 2H and got into alchoholism during their rahu dasas
