Shirdi sai baba lived like a muslim fakir, in a dargah and though he preached that all religions will lead to same destination and Sab ka Maalik Ek, he was buried in same dargah under muslim traditions.

Now if that tradition was to be followed, then it should be left off like a dargah of a fakir.
But hindus entered, took over and built a temple in their tradition.

Biggest mistake is installing a marble statue and performing aarti, pooja etc to it, when a samadhi is right in front of it.

the original samadhi was like this in muslim style, where nobody is allowed to step into it.

when he was alive, hindus and muslims used to visit him equally.
after his samadhi, the tradition continued.

but in later years, hindus took control and put his photo in front of samadhi and started doing poojas.

Slowly muslims stopped visiting shirdi and later, they erected a marble statue and now even pujaris and VIP visitors are allowed to step around the samadhi and even sit on the platform connecting it.

building a temple around a buried dead body (even if it is of a guru or godly man) and performing vedic poojas is not allowed in hinduism.
These fellows step up and walk around his bones.

It should be left to follow one tradition.
Now its not a samadhi, not a temple anymore.

Recently, they even removed the DHUNI, which was ignited by Baba 100 years back.
As baba said, dhuni is like \'agrnihotra\' which always has fire in it and will absorb our sins through objects we offer into it.

Now, only decorations, collection filled hundis, costly gifts, bhajans and sale of prasad etc are left in shirdi.

I feel baba has already left that place long back.

governments of different states gave autonomous status to saibaba temples and this paved way for business in the name of religion.
Anybody can build a saibaba temple by collecting funds and can pocket all the hundi money.
No authority can question them now.

temples have become the best business in india now.
if baba\'s samadhi was left as a dargah in islamic style, then these guys cant make this much money

Sushma

offlate i\'ve observed that though common followers of sai baba are doing good in personal lives (this may be due to their own horoscopes) but few people who practice baba\'s mantra/sadhana/read his sadguru charita etc are facing severe setbacks in their lives.

even their behaviour is changing to very erratic and irritating manner and others are feeling very odd about them

Srinivas

Sushma even I aslo noted the same that the person who had practice baba\'s mantra have lot of issue in there family life compaired to the earlier one.

Bhavani

the temples, their practices etc are all against vedic dharma and hindu aagama shastra.
people are building baba temples in every possible place only because management is autonomous and hundi can be owned completely by them.

If they left it to muslims like a dargah, then obviously there wont be a hundi and there wont be this much money there.
So its as SCAM !

the \'REAL\' temples are which dont have hundis but all vedic rituals happen there regularly.
Find such places and you\'ll find REAL energy of god

pallavi

your last sentence is perfectly correct Bhavani

if people had that much sense, religion would\'ve never become a business

SaSirEkha

basically all religions which are organised and run by few ppl are useless and big scams.
better follow spirituality

Emergency calls of 'dharma yuddha' are ringing across the akharas of naga sadhus who have been asked to stand up now to protect the 'sanatan dharma'- Hindu religion.
The militant naga sadhus have been tasked with restoring the lost glory of the religion" that can be allegedly harmed by followers of certain deified figures, like Sai Baba of Shirdi.

Entangled with the war cry is the 'honour' of a Shankaracharya who feels Sai Baba is certainly not an incarnation of God.
To buttress this view of the Shankaracharya across the Hindu matrix, the akhara leaders have asked all the naga sadhus to assemble in Prayag Allahabad) and Haridwar.
Their target would be formulate a strategy on "demolishing the belief that Sai Baba was a God." The naga sadhus are believed to be in a state of meditation (tapasya ) round the year, except during the Shahi Snan in Kumbh.

But now they have been asked to take a break from asceticism and get ready for a war to save the religion. There are about two lakh naga sadhus in the country.
Observers say in case the naga sadhus take to the streets, it could be a major law and order problem.

It all began recently when Shankaracharya of Dwarka Peeth, Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati, objected to the worship of 19th-century religious figure Sai Baba by the Hindus.

Swami Swaroopanand had said Sai Baba of Shirdi was a Muslim and Hindus should not worship him. He had also claimed that Sai Baba was declared a Hindu avatar by those who have been trying to weaken the Hindu religion.

All of it irked hundreds and thousands of Sai Baba's followers who are now gunning for the Shankaracharya. Swami Swaroopanand's effigies were burnt and there have been allegations that his stance will promote enmity between the communities.
