I had a question regarding the person who does the final rites of burning the pyre
One of senior members in my family has done final rites for quite few relatives due to circumstances and responsibility

Is this good or bad , does the one who gives "Agnida" is indebted to the departing one,
Does it lead to building karmas for next birth

From what i know/read so far, Ketu decides antim-sanskaar of a person.
Because those deceased are indebted to your relative, they got it from him.
He will not carry anything forward
