Hi,
Is there anything in ayurved for long and strong hair.I tried so many things for hair fall control but all went in vein.Any suggestions :)

Sharmila

take hibiscus leaves (yerupu onti rekha mandaraakulu) and curry leaves (karivepakulu) in equal quantity. paste it with water. now apply this to oil applied hair. wash off after an hour with shikai/reeta powder. shampoo is alternate.

by doing this for once in a week for atleast three months you can see your hair grow thick-black-strong.twice in a week is also advicable.

addition of few neem leaves would keep your scalp away from dandruff/allergies.

this i tried n benefited...

you need to have hair nourishing food first
without proper nutrition and blood supply to roots, using oils and shampoos from outside is wastage
its like your are cultivating a crop but soil is useless and is infertile, so whats the fun in having regular water supply?

in other thread on regrowing hair on bald head, people have written many methods
most imp. is biotin deficiency in your body and improper blood supply to skull which causes hairfall
so have bition supplements (you can get from medical store) . you need 300mcg of biotin on a day but if hairloss is more, go for 900mcg .

eat more protein food and daily for 10 minutes rub your fingernails against each other to open up closed hair roots and use these yoga techniques to increase blood supply to scalp

daily massage your palms at which thyroid glands pressure points are located. just before sleep

Wanting to learn vast ranged Astrology only to predict few sport events is like Marrying only for Sex !

The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one !

that was great info. along with it kapalbhati paranayam (written in other topic about pranayam techniques) daily for 5 minutes is good.
never use even warm water to wash hair. only cold water and immediately wipe hair if you think you may catch cold.

also dont use floride water and water with excess chlorine. boil it, filter it and use it cool
