Guys,

Our guys have really wasted a real good win of the toss. We haven\'t utilized the conditions well.

1. Our bowlers are looking very rusty and not bowling in proper length to take wickets. They are bowling too short and wide.

2. The field placements are not good. There are no 3rd slip and Short-leg and slip fielders are standing 2 paces away.

3. We haven\'t taken few important catches too. Rahul Dravid might be our best sip fielder. But as he\'s aged now, his reflexes are not at its best. Hence he\'s not able to take sharp catches. Dhoni should have some young fielder in the first slip, probably Raina.

4. Last but not least, Zaheer Khan is suspected to have got hamstring injury. If that\'s the case, we\'ll definitely not only loose this match but also the entire series.

Overall it doesn\'t seem a good day for Indians, apart from winning the toss.

I thought the swinging conditions can help our bowlers, but it seems that English batsmen are capable of handling this condition to their advantage. Now that Zaheer is out, the bowling department looks pretty ordinary. Ishanth, who was looking very menacing in the WI, not able to produce any results so far. Let\'s hope that the English bowlers also will be as effective as our bowlers.

I am waiting for Sasirekha\'s predictions. Where are you ma\'am? Please give your predictions about this series.

@babhus,

You were right in thinking that the swinging conditions would help our bowlers too. But our bowlers didn\'t bowl in the right length and right areas. If they had bowled properly, they would\'ve got 5 - 6 wickets yesterday itself. Also we have dropped 3 - 4 chances. But Zaheer\'s loss is a huge one for us as he\'s the only quality swing bowler we got. Sreesanth may do wonders one day and play very shabbily the next day. Hence we can\'t depend too much on him. Ishant is still bowling in the same length as he bowled in the Caribbean Islands. That\'s not a proper length here.

Regarding predictions, Virinchi is ultimate. SasiRekha and Mr.Seetaram will come next only. So I believe that this match will end up in draw only. Let\'s see.

Seetaram

sachin\'s stars are only good on saturday(as virinchi said)
if he cant make it before saturday evening, then he cant ever score 100 at lords in his lifetime

Welcome back, Mr.Seetaram.. It\'s nice to have you back.. How was your Himalayan trip?

Do you mean to say, Sachin has got real good chance of getting his ton in Lords on Saturday? Or it\'s marginal chance which he must utilize?? I\'m asking about the level of support he\'s getting from planets. And secondly, if our top 3 batsmen play well and they if don\'t give up their wickets early. Sachin may be closing the day tomorrow in the half way to his hundred. If that\'s the case, can\'t he come back and complete it on Sunday? This is the question of many here. Pls clear the doubt.

Thanks for your reply, Mr.Seetaram..

But Sachin has wasted another golden opportunity of hitting a ton in Lords. Also I wonder how much will they score on their bad day, if they have scored only this much on their lucky day itself.

Actually it looks like we won\'t be able to save this game. I think our main player of this game is \"Rain God\", who\'s the only one who can save this game for India. Let\'s pray that he shouldn\'t fail atleast.

It\'ll be nice if anyone like Virinchi or Mr.Seetaram throws light on today\'s and tomorrow\'s days of play. Can India be able to take all the English wickets cheaply? That too with only 1 bowler (Praveen Kumar)?? Or will England score heavily and declare at their command??

Anyway India have to bat their second innings tomorrow. If there\'s no rain, we have got 196 overs of play left. If England play positively, they can score around 200 runs in 50 overs and can declare their innings. Then we\'ll be left with 140 overs to survive. That\'s highly unlikely given the form shown by our batsmen in the first innings. If Dravid repeats his 1st innings performance with Sachin, Laxman and Gambhir contributing heavily, we can save or even win this game. But is that possible??

Also is Sachin having anymore support from the planets to score his ton here on day 5???
