Bhavani

India will play against New Zealand for 2 tests and 2 T20s in beween 23rd august - 11th september 2012.
Lets predict outcome of matches using astrology.

1st Test : Thu Aug 23 - Mon Aug 27, 09:30 HRS, Rajiv Gandhi Int. Stadium, Hyderabad

2nd Test : Fri Aug 31 - Tue Sep 4, 09:30 HRS , M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore

1st T20 : Sat Sep 8th, 20:00 HRS, Indira Priyadarshini Stadium, Visakhapatnam

2nd T20 : Tue Sep 11th, 20:00 HRS, MA Chidambaram Stadium - Chepauk, Chennai

VVS Laxman is most likely to retire from international cricket after 1st test at hyderabad

LEO

as expected, VVS Laxman announced retirement from international cricket but unexpected was that he retired with immediate effect.
I thought he would atleast play his last test match on home ground and then quit

now with dravid and laxman out for the first time after 16 years, players like sachin and sehwag are expected to perform and set examples.
Virat Kohli may take no.3 spot in tests too.
lets see who takes up no. 5 & 6 spots

Yuvraj just returned after more than an year, Raina, Pujara, Rahane are waiting...

Yes, VVS Laxman is retired now. So two places are vacant in the Test Team. The selectors should select proper Test players for those spots and should groom them properly for the future. They shouldn\'t simply repeat the mistakes like picking up Yuvraj again and again for Tests.

My suggestion would be to pick up Rahane and should make him to open the innings with Gambhir. Sehwag should be allowed to play at No. 5 as he always wished to play in the middle order. Pujara should be picked and should be given No. 3 spot. Kohli should bat at No. 6 as he\'s an aggressive player.

If possible we should look for a replacement for Dhoni too in Tests. Also after Sachin retiring Gambhir should be allowed to bat at No. 3 in Tests and we should find a good and solid opening pair.

Ola! to Bhavani & Gaurang.

The discussions were going on to pick Rohit Sharma in place of VVS Laxman. Since he hasn\'t been in form for the ODI & T20 format. Should be able to pick his form in Test.

As per the weather reports for the upcoming 6 days, weather is not a factor playing during the matches, as per confirmation by my relatives in Hyderabad, rain hasn\'t been as abrupt as seen in England.

Looking forward for wonderful predictions for the three matches.

LEO

instead of dravid they can pick pujara.
they can try raina on domestic picthes instead lazy and out of form rohit in place of laxman

tomorrow rahu is in india\'s favor so start of match should be good for them.
but hyderabad pitch is full of runs and is like an expressway which never cracks even on 5th day (as we saw in 2010 november test match), so unless bowlers do some miracles, result cant be expected here

Varenya

raina was unlucky to edge that outside legstump ball.
pujara used the oppurtunity perfectly.
tomorrow india will windup after lunch and NZL will lose wickets in last session
upcoming transits of 4 days are good for india

Bhavani

2nd day looks promising for india but not 3rd day.
again 4th and 5th days look good

ReVan

Thanks to LEO, Varenya, Gaurang and yourself for your wonderful predictions.

SaSirEkha

bhavani, i think 4th day is not in india\'s favor as moon transits ketu\'s star (and ketu in 12th H)
if there is a result on 5th day, it shud be in india\'s favor or else draw

gauranggroups

SasiRekha,

True. Whatever you\'ve said is right. Kethu has crossed the 1st Cusp and is now transiting in 12th H for India. But the difference is just 1 Degree. Till 8 degrees, the Conjunction will be there with the 1st H. So I think Kethu should favor India. Also Remember Kethu is in 8th H for NZL.

Also this match can\'t end in a Draw unless it\'s heavily interrupted by Rain. According to me, this game should eventually be won by India that too on Day 4 itself. Let\'s see what others feel.
Thanks & Regards,
Gaurang
