any home made sweets with low cal?

please share any home made sweets which is low in cal/fat

how can a sweet be made without sugar or honey (which are high calorie ?)
using artificial sweeteners like (zero sugar) will make sweets taste not good

best way is eat all sweets and workout well

working out is whats missing in this generation

i know few recipes which are less than 100 calories per serving but above 60 cals

below that are not at all sweets

Yeah I do agree work out is a bit far thought for any new/old generation crowd.... for that matter.....

Pineapple Basundi

Pineapple is calorie burner with richness in vitamin C and fibre

Cooking Time : 40 mins.
Preparation Time : 15 mins.

Serves 4.

Ingredients
   2½ cups (500 ml.) low fat milk
   3/4 cup fresh pineapple, grated
   5 teaspoons sugar
   a few saffron strands
   ¼ teaspoon cardamom (elaichi) powder
For the garnish
   1/4 cup pineapple, cut into small pieces

Method
______

1. In a small bowl, soak the saffron in a little warm milk and keep aside.
2. Put the milk in a broad non-stick pan and bring to a boil. Simmer over a medium flame stirring continuously till the milk reduces to half original quantity (approx. 250 ml.).
3. Add the saffron mixture and cardamom powder and mix well. Cool and refrigerate.
4. Combine the pineapple and sugar in a non-stick pan and cook for 5 to 6 minutes while stirring continuously till the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool completely.
5. Add the cooled pineapple mixture to the chilled thickened milk and mix well.
6. Serve chilled, garnished with the pineapple pieces.

Hummmm sounds very interesting and different i will give it a try this week

Gajar Halwa

 Cooking Time : 15 mins.
Preparation Time : 5 mins.

Serves 5.
Ingredients
   2 cups carrots, grated
   2 cups low fat milk
   6 tablespoons low fat milk powder
   3 gms SugaRite or 4 teaspoons sugar
   ½ teaspoon cardamom (elaichi) powder

Method

1. Combine the carrots with the milk and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
2. Add the milk powder, SugaRite/sugar and cardamom powder and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
3. Serve hot.
 
nutrition value : for every 62 gm, its 113 Kcal

   when i saw the carrot recipe i could not resist just tried it na ha........may be i did it in a wrong method or some thing it came out like a paste---ey water --- ey type ...

but pineapple recipe was a good one.... ..

may be u added more milk
other than some carrot juice and milk there\'s no other liquid here that can make it watery

yeah 2 cups of milk not sure which size cup may be i took it wrong size :-) possible once i finish this i will try with less milk some time but it is okay other than water texture tastes good.
