How to identify and seperate Adulterated Food

Food we consume is highly adulterated these days and it is almost impossible to seperate pure food from it.
Follow these steps to identify impurities in food.
Rice, wheat, oils, sugar, grains, milk, honey are the most adulterated.



Coconut Oil : They mix all cheaper varities of oils in virgin coconut oil.
Side effects will be more hairfall and also dandruff.

How to test purity of coconut oil : Put the oil bottle in refrigirator for 6 hours.
It should completely solidify if its pure.
If adulterated with cheaper oils, it won't solidify completely.

Tea Powder : Used tea powder will be colored and added to new powder.
Also minute iron powder which comes out of welding etc will be added.
Side effects will be weakend lungs and respiratory problems

How to test purity of Tea Powder : Wet a filter paper with water and drop some tea powder on it.
If there is trace of red color seen, then powder is adulterated.

Honey : Sugar syrup will be mixed and colored.
Side effects will be diabetes in long term and lazyness, giddiness etc as immediate effects.

How to test purity of Honey : Dip some cotton in honey and burn it.
Pure honey burns silently. Sugar or other mixtures will not burn and even if they burn, will generate sounds.

Turmeric : metanil yellow will be mixed
Side effects will be like paralysis

How to test purity of Turmeric : mix this powder in water and if you notice dark yellow color, then it has mixture of metanil yellow, else not.

Sugar : Chalk powder and Urea will be mixed
Side effects will be vomiting sensation and nausea

How to test purity of Sugar : mix in water and see. Chalk powder will deposit at bottom after a while and Urea will make water have strong smell of Ammonia

Milk : Rice flour and starch will be added
Side effects will be loss of protein in your diet and sometimes indigestion and pain in intenstines.

How to test purity of Milk : Boil 100 ml of milk and add 4-5 drops of iodine.
If milk turns blue, then its adulterated, else its pure

rice, wheat, sweets, juices and even medicines are adulterated these days

Wheat Flour : Fine Bran is mixed.
Side effects will be indigestion and constipation

How to test purity of Wheat : Mix wheat flour in water and bran will float.

Red chillies powder : brick powder and wood pulp will be mixed to adulterate this.
Side effcts will be cancer in long term

How to test purity of chillies powder : mix it in water and pulp will float while brick powder will sink the bottom.

Black Pepper : Papaya seeds will be dried and mixed.
Side effects like indigestion, pain in intenstines, apendicitis etc will be experienced.

How to test purity of Black pepper seeds : add them to pure water and papaya seeds will float while pepper will sink.

lemme add some to this useful list

Cloves : After removing oil from them, used cloves will be mixed.
Side effects will be respiratory problems.

How to test/seperate these used cloves : Its actually easy. One can notice that used cloves whose oil is removed, look dried up and shrinked.

Coffee Powder : Used coffee powder will be dried, colored and mixed.
Also fine wood pulp is colored and mixed.
Side effects will be weakened lungs and asthma.

How to identify adulteration of coffee powder : same method as of tea powder above
