In winter common problems are formation of phlegm/mucus in lungs, nose and throat areas.
isnophilia is commonly seen with sneezes, heavy breathing, lack of sleep, snoaring, allergies.

to avoid all these in winter, use proper woollen covering to chest and throat and if possible to nose and ears also.

during day have only brown rice or wheat.
and during nights avoid rice, buttermilk, curd/yogurt and sweets.
have warm milk mixed with half spoon of turmeric powder after dinner.
avoid sugar in milk, tea, coffee and instead use honey.

take  3 spoons of coconut oil in a big spoon and heat it.
during heating add some camphor powder to it.
after mixing and heating well, let it become warm and then apply this oil to chest, throat and nose before sleep.

avoid cool drinks and ice creams

Hi deepa,
thanks for the info.
i would like to add one more line here.

for people who have allergies and isnophilia, they better use neem oil.
warm few drops of neem oil and put them in nostrils and deeply inhale with head bent back.
do this early in morning and night 1 hour before dinner.

also use only luke warm water for head bath

DCP

also avoid anything thats stored in refrigirator
have warm water with dinner

Star Dust

great info folks.
i tried warm water with dinner and had good digestion

pallavi

also use mustard oil for cooking or mustard sauce with bread
it produces lot of heat in body which doesnt allow phlegm to stay in

make paste of ginger, turmeric and  good quality honey; take it twice a day  which will loose and stop formation of the phlegm . And yes drink hot water .
