MR.Prasad,

It will be better if we look inside ourselves and see where we need improving. People do so many things and we get tempted and distracted. You cannot bribe God. Money given in temples is usually meant for the welfare of that institute so that it can be well maintained and the Purohits/Pandit etc. also are able to live on it. But actually what used to happen in Shirdi Sai Baba trust when the money used to be counted by those employed inside is anyone\'s guess. One known person to me told me that people would pocket away money and jewellery too. People are the same everywhere and same thing must be happening in many other such Temples etc.

If you look at other\'s job you will find it much better than yours, if you look at other persons business you will feel it is much better than yours and again if you look at other person\'s wife she will look much more attractive than yours. These are the sayings which older people would say. So best is to keep to yourself. God cannot be bribed that is certain.

If you are honest and sincere then you have to simply ask HIM when you are really in difficulty and then you will find that things happen as if out of nowhere. Until then be sincere to life and wait for results which will follow.

Donating money to poor or to some institution will be good karma. And at the same time earning money through corruption, drugs, alcohol, betting will be bad karma. Now the million dollar question is can such good karma like donation reduce the impact of Bad Karma ? Personally i feel it can not. Only a complete submission to God, giving up on all bad habits and constant and dedicated praying can remove karma from ones life. All puja, donations, charity should come from ones devotion, dedication and sacrifice then only it works.
Understand that looking at today\'s level of corruption, unethical behavior of powerful people, this question arises in everbody\'s mind, but everone has to go by his faith. I am looking for answers from other senior members like Seetaram, Viranchi here. Can astrology help eradicate the bad karma of these people if he wears a ring/stone,  hires astrologers and pandits to perform puja etc.

one will not compensate the other.
Both have to be beared independently.

Let me tell an example...
Once i met a friend near a shirdi saibaba temple and we were talking outside the temple.
My friend observed that there were many young guys who came to temple and were going through the queue and dropping their donations in hundi, but most of them actually came here to ogle at the girls who come to baba temple on thursdays.

when my friend asked me, are they gaining good karma by coming to temple and donating money and will it clear their bad karma of ogling at women there?

something flashed in my mind and i said \"Both karmic results will co-exist. May be in next life they will be born as a rich businessman(for donating at temple) and own sweet shops, but will suffer from diabetes(for their actual deed at temple) and cannot have any of their shop\'s sweets.

Well, atleast if someone reads this, they\'ll realise that our thought attaches us to karma and should have better thoughts for better results.
Nobody can escape it
Wanting to learn vast ranged Astrology only to predict few sport events is like Marrying only for Sex !

The greatest mistake you can make in life is to be continually fearing you will make one !

How to find whether you have committed good karma or not by donating money or doing good to others, no matter whether the money earned is through negative ways or positive ways.

Just concentrate inside and feel yourself. Do you feel happy and satisfied. You may not pray, not go to any temple, not donate any money but do you feel true happiness and contented.

Take an example. You go out of the way and help a person in need say give food to a beggar. How you feel after that. That is the true happiness and that happiness would be much more if it is done out of desire to help someone rather than to negate your bad karmas for doing anything with the intention of only helping others generates more happiness within than when you have some plans to reduce your negative karma.

If a person is cheating no matter how financially rich he may be or a well known person in society if he cannot look into your eyes when you have dealt with him and found him to be a cheat then that person is not so high morally. It is the eye contact which makes him feel guilty and he will always have his eyes downcast. There are other indications too for this person has to release the negative energy inside through some facial action or body action. It is said Bill Clinton during Monica Lewinsky case was used to rub his nose to release that negative energy. This is as per the report of a Psychiatrist who studied the case and made the observation.

Vrininchi Ji.

Yes you said practical and correct, when I was teenage I too went temples for Girls.  - not now.

If we observe most of the teenagers coming to the temples not for praying god, for girls - its truth and fact.

Donating money gives good karma - the same time teasing girls gives naturally :( results.

Sorry for for the mistake  it should be Virinchi Ji.

Now my intension is Donations can classify few types:-

1.Donations with Corrupted money - Politicians, Top Officials and Industrialists. etc.,  i.e Vijay malya,Gali Janardhan reddy etc.,

2. with Stealing amount - i.e a pick pocket-er - picked a purse from some one got 5k out of that if he donate some amount - how can we treat its good karma - because its not his money.

3. Few people donate their hard earning money - it may not be in lakhs. might be in thousands.

4.Some people can\'t donate any amount but they do seva(service) in the temples (with out salary) i.e volunteers

5. I see few people as they daily they clean the temples, decorate god idles with flowers.(this also without salary).

6. Finally Few people they never go the temples - they see god in the people...they serve what they can do...i.e donate blood, feed poor people, provide shelter poor/old people. and in many ways. they many slogan is \"MANAVA SEVE MADHAVA SEVA\"

which one the best one to reach god / please god.

Prasath,

Why do you wanna rank these things? Any service to mankind is to God. Also if you are feeding the animals like cows, dogs and other living beings too, it\'ll go to GOD only. Nobody here can rate and rank these things. If you insist and if someone is doing so, it\'s not true and it\'s just to reply you as GOD is the only one to rate your Karma.

You might\'ve helped a person for Rs.5000/- worth. You might\'ve helped other person for Rs.50/- worth. But in GOD\'s court, the second case may be valued more as it depends on the place, time and the need of the receiver.

Also don\'t calculate about your Karma and do the help as it won\'t fetch you the actual positive karma. I think you would be aware and know the meanings of the words \"Dhaanam\" and \"Dharmam\". \"Dhaanam\" is giving something expecting some other benefits, which is purposeful helping. \"Dharmam\" is giving and helping without expecting anything.
Thanks & Regards,

Virinchi,

You are absolutely right and this shows that you\'ve got good knowledge about the concepts of Karma apart from your knowledge in Astrology. Good work, mate!

Dear Gaurang,

This is a very sensible reply. We just have to do our work by helping mankind and rest follows. No need to worry about Karma. You will hardly find anyone doing good to mankind sincerely worrying about Karma. If so then he has no faith in HIM.
