major changes i\'m seeing these days is that every scam/scandal (even a small case) is being exposed in public and guilty are being punished, unlike the age old bofors scam, where everyone escaped till date.
Just look at the public reaction for delhi rape case and then with a week, too many cases were reported and arrests happened.

For the first time in india, politicians (that too, belonging to ruling party) went to jail.
Criminals like Y.S.Jagan are not getting bail.
One would never get to see such things before 2007
