Meditation or Mantra Saadhana is similar to Cycling and Swimming

I was told this by a guy who introduced K.P astrology to me 6 years ago. I believed his words and actually experienced them myself after an year.

Later i told others and asked them to make few observations.
Now, after getting considerable feedback, i can confidently says that  Meditation or Saadhana is done ONLY once,  just like swimming or cycling is learnt only once in a lifetime.[/i]

You may fall down from bicycle many times while learning, but once you learn, that skill will stay till you die.
Same is the case with swimming.

Even if you didnt ride a bicycle for many years, you can still ride it now.
Similarly, if you learnt swimming once in your childhood, your body will automatically float whenever you are in water.

Many, who practice some type of meditation, mantra saadhana etc should attain siddhi at some point and then stop.
There\'s no point in practicing throughout lifetime and waste time on it.

One need to try and move to next level, like trying to ride a motorbike and then ride a car, then fly an aeroplane etc.
If you dont have big desires or targets, then you can stop with bicycle and just walk everyday.

But unfortunately, many practice only one method throughout life without proper concentration or dedication, try to teach their outdated and no-result method to everyone and end up as failures in life.

People will first look at your lifestyle and level of maturity before looking upto you for advise.

The only indication that you or someone has successfully mastered cycling (attained some siddhi) is that you dont ask questions, you dont look upto someone for solutions and have attained financial and spiritual stability in life.

do you mean it should be done only once in a lifetime ?
what if we dont/cant achieve the siddhi in this life\'s practice

Virinchi

most of us dont / cant know how many human lives have we lived on this planet.
so we must try to attain a materialistic state where we\'re not scared of losing job, money, pride, people, life etc.
And at spiritual level, understood that all regular queries are already answered for us.

Today, most are finding it hard to pick the right person to ask a question about their horoscope, discuss about spiritual progress etc.
In my last line in 1st post above, i\'ve given clue of how to identify the \'right\' person.

The \'right\' one will not be doing daily meditation as a time bound duty, he/she wont be having financial problems, court cases, disputes in their families, unsettled next generation and no major health problems.
They\'re the ones who have attained \'siddhi\' at some level.
Its upto them, if they want to attain higher levels or not, but actually if they\'re matured enough, they\'ll just stop and utilise their knowledge for others.

you\'ll find everyone who became old, will pick up lines from books and try to quote them to you, but look at their living standards and then decide if you should listen to them or not.

yes, as krishna said in \'geetha\', if one dies before attaining siddhi, he will be either born in rich family and will be attracted towards me(god) after certain age or will be born in a family of siddha purushas.

And then he will continue his sadhana from there in next life.

So, what Virinchi said actually makes sense.
Sticking to one method/mantra and attaining siddhi in it is better than running around 1000 methods and end up losing everything.

qualification of a guru to initiate a mantra to his disciple is that the guru himself has practised same mantra and attained \'siddhi\'.
the indication of \'siddhi\' is that guru\'s balanced lifestyle which is visible to us.

similarly the suggestion that comes out of experience has more impact and should be followed, rather than a suggestion given out of bookish/internet knowledge

this is very useful information.
