Moon will be in Satabhisha nakshatra till around 5pm IST on 3 Jan 2017.
During this time, worshipping Ganesha with Durva grass (garika or long blade grass or அருகம்புல் - Cynodon doctylon or scutch grass) will remove most of the common obstacles you face.
If you do know any ganapati mantra or cannot do at home, offer some durva grass in any ganesh temple and ask the priest to do archana with it.

'Ashtami should prevail at least for one Ghati after Pradosh while selecting fasting day for Kalashtami.'
But Kalabhairava Jayanthi vrat starts with fasting from sunrise to next sunrise, with a Jagaran during night.
So, it has to be Ashtami throughout the day1 and few hours into the night

Indians can close 4th test by afternoon on day 5.
The toughest transits for them were during 1st and 4th test (where england posted good totals in 1st innings), but Indians managed to draw 1st and now winning 4th.
5th Test at Chennai will be tough on England (similar to 2nd test in Vizag) and it should be 0-4 christmas gift for Bawarchi & co

saturn transit around lagna is different.
Anyways, you still have 10 months to go for saturn dasa to start and all +ve changes will come when saturn too transits sagittarius (direct) from 25 oct'17. Until then wait for your train...
