Dear Friend,

As per Osho we have two legs of which one represents past life and the other this and future life. Past life leg is grounded. You can cannot lift both legs and walk. Present and future life leg you can move around. You have the free will to move it anyway you like it. By doing thus you can eliminate your bad past karmas and make both the legs free. So it is for all of us to free us of our past karmas. If God had not given us this choice why should we try to do something good at all. Despite all this people worry about past karmas and do not improve themselves citing reasons as what is written in fate will happen.

Vaaniji,

It is a figure of speech and not to be applied literally. What is meant by one leg is free is that you have 50% choice of changing your present life whereas balance 50%, the grounded leg, is your past karma and what is written in your fate.
