Title: Moksha ki ichcha bhi ek ichcha hai
Post by: .Seeker. on June 14, 2013, 05:15:43 PM
The one who seeks Moksha is called a "Mumukshu".

Moksha or salvation or liberation is said to be attained by those who have resolved and balanced their karmic sheet and have attained absolute freedom from all desire.

While contemplating the concept of Moksha it occured to me that the quest or desire of Moksha is still a desire!!

So does it follow that a true seeker is free from even that desire...and in doing so becomes a true "Mumukhsu"?

Please share your thoughts.

Is Moksha real or is it an idea? As i have seen too many people speak about it.But isn't life all about living now instead of Moksha?

Everything in this world is experienced through your mind.
So, everything must be a state of mind of yours (not the infamous 'Poverty is a state of Mind' joke of Rahul Gandhi ;) )
Moksha is a state where mind merges into soul and it doesn't exist to experience anything.
It doesn't come as long as mind exists with desire (even for moksha)

what orangeprince said in the end  is valid for 99% population.
they should rather concentrate on 'living the moment', rather than worry about 'after death', because life's (creation's) purpose is to 'live', not 'escape'
