When you are really depressed try this.
Listen to songs that you grew up listening on tv, radio or tape or cd
Trust me it will rejuvenate your mind and spirit.

well, my husband listens to his childhood songs and that makes me go to depression mood sometimes as his childhood songs are so sad and I can\'t understand the language much either so here you go my depression starts :-)!!!!

may be you have a bad venus and weak moon that you cannot enjoy art.
if you dont feel good with music, then you need company of people who praise you and blabber a lot

for people with malefic venus, nothin will give pleasure other than timepass chitchat, useless gossips.
You might have already lost interest in Tv and cinema too.
Better solve your mental problems quickly and try to live normal life, else will be termed unfit to live in society soon
me too with ve malefic ? I doubt, as I really don\'t like gossips. Chitchats is ok to extent, but music, movies, soap and reading is what I enjoy

I Think seetharam sir is 100% right in my case.
I lost interest in TV and cinema.
I am trying to maintain loneliness and practicing meditation regularly.
I dont enjoy company of people and their chit chat as ranjana said.
If any alternative method of coming out of severe depression exists I would like to experiment with that.

Reading can be a good alternative to divert mind from frustation/depression. And meditation is any time a good exercise for mental peace. Once you arrive at peace with youself, it becomes easy to face the rest of the world.
Yeah it is good to listen music when someone is depressed but i do the alternate thing i read books or go to friends to have a long drive and have fun this works for me
Have Fun almost is the best way to remove tention

so try to hang around with people who are busy making money, always talking/thinking positive and have good sense of humor.

madam I m daily from the morning to evening I m seeing many patients.these all patients with sad,with sufferings only.is these moods of patients effects on me?

i do agree with your theory and it may be true, but these people who are always depressed and sad it is not their fault, i mean by the people who do try to get ahead in life.As the famous quote states " gham baatne se door hota hai aur Khushi baatne se dugni hoti hai"

Depression is not at all a good state, as soon as you recover from this state it is good for you. First you have to start taking deep breaths and just stop thinking everything. Be calm and relaxed. Spend time with family and friends.

What you've described is a panic attack/anxiety,not depression
I used to think quietly on the root cause for the matter and see the reality within it. Most of the time it has worked for me.
