The amount of security the Centre has  employed to see that this strike fails is much more than the security employed when terrorists strike. Terrorists are free to roam anywhere but not Annaji. Annaji\'s mass movement is threat to the Govt. it appears from how the Govt. is reacting.

I am on fast since morning to at least give some support for the cause and for this movement to succeed it requires the support of all of us for there is corruption rampant everywhere from top to bottom. Once the top is cleaned the bottom automatically improves.

I sincerely hope you are wrong and Anna Hazare wins in this battle although politicians can outwit even God and the have already won the first round in April. Whether they win it now is to be seen.  But in the end right always wins with lots of sacrifice and Anna Hazare said so in April that the battle has been won but the War has just started and he will be more determined this time to not lose out to the wily politicians. It is rightly rumoured or someone said that if the Anna Hazare\'s Lokpal Bill is passed then more than half the Congress Ministers will not be there and so many other politicians. This was stated by Ambika Soni on T.V.

though jupiter is in 12th house, its in aries where it will bring justice by force.
thats why we\'re seeing people putting lots of pressure on government, many politicians going to jail, y.s.jagan raided by CBI etc.
also rahu in 7th will stay there for next 15 months, so central govt will be forced to succumb and take few decisions
also india\'s chart is going through sun dasa till 2015 july where anarchy within democracy will continue and Anna\'s demand will be partially accepted.
But after 2015 moon dasa till 2025 will bring huge changes.

To those who blindly shout slogans of supporting hazare and go to sleep,

how can you expect one bill to change to country when 99% population is corrupt?
did you ever pay a bribe in your life to get some work done, for your business/job etc?
parliament, judiciary system, ACB, CBI, lokayukta all are to make things work smoothly without corruption.
But every system failed so far because WE are corrupt and so are people who run that system.

With the Sun maha dasha dasha and Jupiter antardasha period beginning from Sept 2011, there may be major changes coming in the near future.

Sun represents the government and its placement in the 4th house gives a difficult time for the government. Transit Jupiter is in Aries which happens to be the 12th house. This is not a favorable position as well. Jupiter represents religion and religious heads of different communities. The importance and involvement of such people are bound to increase in the coming months. Transit Saturn will enter Libra in Nov 2011. Libra is the sign of Justice and Judiciary. Let us pray and hope that justice will be served to all the corrupt persons during the next 2 ½ years.

Transit Rahu is in Scorpio. This happens to be the 5th house from the Moon. Moon signifies the general public. Transit Rahu here creates dissatisfaction and dissent. Hence the general public will get involved and may vent their ire against the working of the government.

Today the government is looking very powerful. But transit Jupiter in Aries opposing its own position in the independence chart will try to bring strong opposition from the general public. The placement of Transit Saturn in Virgo in the 5th house indicates a dubious approach by the government and their lack of intention to implement strict disciplinary actions against the culprits. How else can we explain the lack of tough measures being implemented against the wealthy and powerful? Transit Mercury is Retrograde in Leo indicating that the government will try to manipulate things in their favor. Transit Sun with Venus in Cancer indicates the sweet talking measures (carrot and stick policy) which the government has been using since the movement began. They may be successful in these tactics and a compromise may be reached by amending and making minor changes here and there leaving behind some loopholes in their favor. As far as the common man is concerned he may be successful in venting his ire against corruption.

But the real question for this crusade to become successful is - Do we have the courage to oppose people who are corrupt in the society, in the Company we work for, in the neighborhood, in the club, the association we are in? I have not seen too many do that. We attend fancy wedding receptions, cocktail and dinners hosted by our friends, neighbors and associates fully knowing he or she cannot afford this from legitimate source of income. We do not say anything because we not want to become unpopular or attract the wrath of people with money power.

Nothing will change, unless \"we the people\" change. We all talk about 2G scams are foxed with new sets of mind boggling figures in scams which crop up. We talk about CWG scam and point our fingers. But in reality, politicians and officers are corrupt because we are corrupt. We talk about the magnitude of scam in 2G or CWG but have we ever made an attempt to add up the small scams in private business enterprises. I can assure you it will not be very small. If all of them are put together, annual magnitude I am sure will be bigger than CWG.

Thanks for your detailed reply with calculations. Long time back Respected Late V.P.Singh was finance minister under Rajiv Gandhiji. V.P.Singh started raid after raids against all big shots in the Corporate sectors and for the first time in our history the big and mighty were disturbed and afraid to do anything wrong. Quite a few corporates tried to defend themselves but V.P.Singh countered with the report of the Solicitors advising such big Corporates that showed that the Corporates did wrong even after they were advised by their Solicitors. This proof was made public. For the first time we started feeling not to be ashamed of being honest and sincere. For now the honest people are looked down upon as just another person. Only the dishonest, corrupt, rich got honoured and had connections everywhere. Even the Yamraj seem to be granting them extra years and such people also appear to have good, long and happy life.

In the end when V.P.Singh raided a particular Corporate House, the Chairman or Director of that firm was a childhood friend of Rajivji. This person (it is rumoured) got the raids stopped and after that V.P.Singhji\'s portfolio was changed or perhaps he resigned. Do not remember what happened then. Since then again the tide is flowing against the honest people.

Now somewhere this has to stop for the Law of Nature has to work or if challenged it brings destruction. So that destruction has to come through in some form or the other for it cannot be that Stars will always favour the Disnonest, Greedy, Unpatriotic and Corrupt persons to always get success after success. When their Punya Karam or previous Births become Zero then that is the last moment of their life in this Birth. This had happened to Ravana and Kans. They were alive till their Punya Karam was in their favour. Once the Punya Karam came to Zero they were finished off. Even they could not be killed by Rama and Krishna before their Punya Karam were exhausted. It is therefore I put this question whether that time has come. If it has come then no matter what the politicians do they will meet the same fate as Gaddafi is now about to face in Libya and Hosni Mubarak is facing in Egypt. These both were also very powerful in their country.

When corruption stops at the top or even gets diluted it automatically has a drastic effect on others down the ladder. When you find your King Corrupt you become corrupt. When the king himself is corrupt then it is taken for granted that Corruption is a good and normal thing to do.

This will then be the time for us to reform ourselves and keep ourselves free of corruption and cooperate with others for we know where this has led our country to.

If older generation of india had stopped encouraging corruption then, it wouldn\'t have grown to this size now.
If you stop paying bribes for getting your drivers license/business license etc, obviously higher authorities will work without bribes and this will spread to leaders.

in democracy, change has to start from root level. not top level
why do you think only politicians or industrialists are corrupt?
does corruption means looting 1000s of crores??

even a small thing like downloading pirated mp3 is corruption
once we stop ourselves, slowly system will automatically change

if what v.p.singh did was correct, then why didn\'t people elect him again in 1991?
why was he given minority govt in 1989?
because people are themselves corrupt
so we\'ve to blame ourselves and our older generations who let this grow all these years
we always look for someone to come and change the system.

if the situation in india is worst now, blame should go to elder generations(including me) who remained silent all these years and waited for someone to cleanup the mess made by us.

part of blame goes to our brought up in this indian family structure, where our parents expect us to settle down in life quickly(settling in their term means getting into job and matrimony but they conviniently forget that we only settle in the end at graveyard, till then we keep running), our society which downlooks us if we have goals like anna hazare in our prime youth, friends who discourage us.

part of blame goes to hindu puranas and karma philosophy which teaches us that always god will come down in his new avatar and cleanup the mess (developed by us)
why the hell should we make a mess in first place?

we suddenly wake up when someone takes up an issue and fight for it.
we shout slogans like \"I SUPPORT ANNA\", \"VANDEMATARAM\", \"BHAARAT MATA KI JAI\", send SMS, forward emails, putup anna\'s pic as our avatar in forums, throw entire blame on politicians, argue till we\'re either exhausted or others stop arguing and go to sleep(hoping that anna\'s bill will act like kalki avatar and clean up everything)

next morning we again read newspapers, watch tv, abuse politicians and go back to work.

Few intelligent are atleast doing some business here.
they sell ANNA caps, ANNA t-shirts, collect your emails and phone numbers saying that if 25 crore indians make a call and register, govt will pass the bill.
Later your inbox and phone will get spammed ! and we\'ll wait for another AVATAR to come and clean that mess..

few parties try to take advantage of anna\'s fight, one fameless heroine wants to strip down and support anna, few collect funds in name of anna.. corruption never ends.
Its like SOUL(permanent), we(BODIES) need to adapt and learn how to cope with it till we live.
