Title: Fingers in palmistry
Post by: HPG777 on February 21, 2010, 11:43:12 PM
Hi, I am new here and I had a question regarding the little fingers on my hands. I have had my palms read many times and my mother has books on the subject and they mention that  the shape of the fingers is important. On both my hands my little fingers (pinkies) are too small for my hand, what could this mean? It\'s funny, people point it out to me all the time! I read that having long pinkies means you will be able to influence others so i assume small pinkies means the opposite. Ok thanks!   ;)

i guess little finger denotes a person\'s wit, self confidence in speech etc
If its small than usual then you might be hesitative, sometimes lack of self confidence in speech, inferiority complex etc

HPG777ji,

You seem to have too many questions indicating your worry nature. I have a small finger which not so long. What about it? Nothing to bother. Everyone has something good and something otherwise in their palms, horoscope and what not. They do not stop living.

Smallest finger if it crosses the top phalange of the next (Ring or Apollo) finger then it makes a person easier to express himself easily. What he/she can explain in a few words it will take others full page or even pages to explain and still not be understood. Hence short small finger persons have to work harder to achieve their goals while the others find it easy. But according to my observation if you see the palms of so many celebrities on T.V. and if you can see them personally or on Wikipedia (There is another palmistry forum where they have posted palms of celebrities at least over 100 persons) you will find problems even in their palms. It is their self confidence to look at the brighter side and gain advantage from that and to forget about your negative side.

Try this experiment: When you are in deep pain, probably hurt through accident or maybe pain in the stomach or tooth etc., just throw that thought from your mind? Difficult to forget pain. O.K. Remember the most interesting and humorous incident in your life or some party where you enjoyed or some incident which was very interesting. Dwell on that thought. Soon you will forget about pain and you will be surprised to find there is no pain at all. What happened? You have separated your thoughts and directed it elsewhere. Poor pain what can it do when it does not attract your attention.

Similarly if you do not reply to a person who repeated asks you something, what will happen? He has to go away unsatisfied. This is simple psychology. There are ways when even if your body suffers burns or pain or something very acute you may not even feel it. Saints do it by detaching themselves from their body. They see their body being hurt etc. etc. but they do not feel it otherwise how they could sit on Himalayas 20,000 Ft. above sea level and meditate almost naked (very few clothes) and still not feel the cold/frost bite. They walk bare foot on ice too and not feel the frost bite.

Dear HPG777,

Pain can be emotional or physical. We have to cross it and remove it from our thoughts/heart/mind whereever it is.
