Why should we sleep on our LEFT SIDE ?

as per YOGA sastra, surya naadi circulates through our right nostril and chandra naadi through left nostril.

so, if you sleep on your left shoulder, your surya naadi is activated and you gain good health during sleep.

if you sleep on right shoulder, chandra naadi is under action and it gives you dreams, disturbances, snoaring etc

chain smoking n alcohol addiction is also the reason behind snoaring.

i hate snoaring.

things to do before getting onto bed :

1. finish dinner atleast 2 hrs before sleep

2. wash your face, hand n legs

3. sleep straight on back and inhale+exhale 8 times

4. turn to right and exhale 16 times

5. turn to left and inhale+exhale 32 times and fall into deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep sleep

i tried this last night and slept like hell :lol:

but usually ppl have the habit of sleeping on one fixed side.

i tried hard and made habit of sleeping on left side
though i may be shifting during sleep to all sides

doing anulom vilom breathing technique for 5 minutes before sleep will result in sound sleep and no disturbing dreams

also by sleeping on left side one can avoid snoaring which can be bad for health and disturbance for others
