Who can do pinda dan for the deceased who were childless?

First of all,Im new to this forum so pls dont mind  if i posted in the wrong section.
Regarding my querry,I have read that souls cant reach the pitri loka if his sons dont offer pinda dan or do shraddha ceremony etc.So my question for those who are not married or are married but childless wht is the rule in such cases?

if you want to know who has eligibility to do this process, then it can be :

1. son
2. adopted son
3. son born to wife through other man
4. brother\'s son
5. brothers
6. any male with same lastname
7. son-in-law
8. grandson

any young guy who does not have yagnopaveet or is not married cannot do this

If one doesnt marry at all options 1,3,7 & 8 are ruled out.

This is really a nice question and a very nice answer from Omkar. Even Cousin Brothers can do it if there is no brother also.

Only few people would be aware of this and many people in the fast and modern generation wouldn\'t be aware of all these things. By discussing these things in this forum, it\'ll give knowledge to many people at least.
