dunno about intuition. maybe youre just born with it! i have verrry strong intuition and so does my mom. we can get physically nauseated from \"bad\" vibes  ;)

My mother told me when i was a kid that her grandmother practiced witchcraft and could tell the future for people through a coffe cup. Sounded crazy; my mom passed away 8 years ago, and i ask my grandma about it and she told the same thing. She described it kinda the way that Shalu ( at top of page) described it. By google; I found this page because I was curious of what i\'d heard. My great grandma was of Scottish desent, I dont know if it was a passed on Pagan thing or what, but it is intresting

coffee cup fortune telling is not actually witchcraft
its more related to intuition which you can have by birth and then some methods transmitted over generations

usually tarot readers, pyschic readers, coffee cup readers are mostly women because of their ying energy

Understood. She also did spells and rituals....dunno know for sure it was way befor my time. I myself have always had a feeling, kinda drawn to occultism and the science of the earth. I\'m currently studing numerology. I\'m from I small southern town, so all that is a secret. It easy to be put on the outside for having a logical open mind

interesting !
does anyone still do it in your family

dridge

Nope the secrets died with her, as well as most of the stories; my mother past away when i was 19. my grandma is starting to slip. I ask if there was any books, was but none stayed in the family. Prob a good thing; I\'m a Freemason & I already have the debate over being a devil worshiper. Freemasonary does have roots in the occult, and alot of symbols have been hi-jacked from the Freemasons and used with the wrong meaning. Such as the pentagram, these rednecks around here freak the hell out at the sight of one..lolol

To make things worse I grew up my late teens and early 20\'s hangin out with romanian gypseys, They had a bad rep; basicly because they were different. I couldnt count the number of fights we be through together over smart ass crystal ball jokes...lolol

I used to do coffee cup fortune telling, but that was a while ago. It really does take practice and a good eye to be able to identify the images you see (animals, birds, eyes, planes...etc.). Each image + its location in the cup has a meaning.
I\'d love to brush up on my knowledge, I\'ll try to dig up an old notes book where I took some notes and will share them with you.
