I checked the official website (https://www.t20worldcup.com/fixtures), ICC has mentuoned that "IF AUSTRALIA QUALIFIES FOR THE SEMI-FINALS, AUSTRALIA WILL PLAY SEMI-FINAL 1 IN SYDNEY".

It means Aus will be Team 2 (assumming that they finish at 2nd rank) and India should also finish at 2nd rank if Adelaide luck should fever tham (As per Respected @Virinchi sir).

Not sure if England spoils Aus's party then .. plan can change since Group 1 belongs to England and Group 2 Belongs to SA/India.

Eng v NZ becomes a very critical game, both in terms of semis for Aus & Eng qualification, even NZ while they still have one easy match v Ireland but rain can destroy their chances too..

Also final position in the group will define the semis as well.. which to me will decide the winner ….. The first view at numbers tells me England win today … lets wait for the astro experts

Going by performances with bat and ball, only New Zealand, England and South Africa seems to be the deserving semi-finalists. India is the 4th team who are doing better than Aussies but their batsmen had no clue against South African pacer and in knockouts their bowlers will be tested against Kiwi and English hitters.
Expecting Pak to beat SA tomorrow and no further upsets, It should be NZL vs SA at Sydney (which SA can lose) and IND vs ENG at Adelaide

Hello All,

I have been following this forum from 2011 world cup, and have seen some great predictions. I am not an astrologer, although am a keen follower.

Just have one comment on this post, since it is related to performance rather than astrology. Why would you include England in that list, they lost to Ireland too. Every team has had its up and down this world cup, this one is an absolutely open one. Not trying to argue, just trying to understand.

Both semi final dates are threat for India. If SA beats PAK today, India will play NZL in sydney and can win a last over thriller.

If they play England in Adelaide (if SA loses to PAK today) , it is almost a knockout situation.

Either way England is the biggest obstacle for India. They can handle NZL or SA in finals. There is also a pattern going on similar to 2011 WC. India last faced and beat Netherlands in ICC tournament only in 2011 and now in 2022. India lost to SA in both occassions in last over. England lost to Ireland on both occassions.
