aloe vera is usually mixed and boiled along with oils and applied to hair
swiss chard is best source of biotin and hair falls only due to lack of biotin in body

you can have biotin supplements or these foods

egg, liver (each 3 ounces have 27 mcg biotin)

if you are a veggie, then :

avacado, cauliflower, Yeast bakers active, Wheat bran crude, brocolli etc
if you feel its hard to swallow all these you can have a biotin supplement which gives you atleast 300 mcg /day for 3-4 months in a year and hair will grow all year

Thanks DCP and sasirekha,
honestly, i have lost hope, pass from 7 years i am doing so many things to my hair i use to take biotin tabs for quiet sometime nothing changed, used aurvedic oil ( which makes it worst like if i apply oil the hair falls off while applying itself) I used to have thick hair now almost bald in front infact little bald in front.
I have seen atleast 5 docs so far done blood test thyroid test everything is normal. ofcourse stress is also there but that is normal avg stress i suppose which is very common for a person.
from 2004 my hair is falling like anything i just can\'t help it.
should i go for hair transplant? is it worth people say it works for some and does not work for some

Try sesame or virgin olive oil for hair.Even my hair started falling rapidly when i shifted from my home town to bangalore.May be pollution also plays a role in this.Try to cover your hair while going out :)

Hi tara,
if you\'ve reached that stage then there must be something in DNA structure that you can\'t modify through medication.
better go for transplant and then on new hair start using biotin supplements for 1 year.
dont use all sorts of oils (especially avoid oils that instantly give cooling effects, like navaratan etc)

First step, Stop worrying about hair fall.. psychologically that will give more improvement.

Hair is like any other part in our body, which needs essential fats, proteins, amino acids. So well balanced diet should show good symptoms in hair fall.

as a doctor i never suggest using navaratan oil
it weakens hair roots

ofcourse stress is also a major factor
you can read on yoga methods for improving blood circulation to head and relief from stress in yoga section articles of this site

avoid all coolant oils and have triphala churnam (1 spoon + honey , made paste) after dinner every night for 6 months.
all blockages to hair roots will be cleared and fresh blood supply to hair follicles will increase.
twice in a week apply bhringraj oil only

in india, you can find them in any medical store with \'Baidyanath\' logo/board on it.
in abroad you may look online in baidyanath\'s site

https://www.allayurveda.com/shoppingcart/shippingcountry.asp?varProductName=Triphala%20Churna&varcategorysubcategoryid=&varcategoryid=&productopic=&actionstatus=

and

https://www.allayurveda.com/shoppingcart/shippingcountry.asp?varProductName=Mahabhringraj%20Taila&varcategorysubcategoryid=&varcategoryid=&productopic=&actionstatus=

remember not to use shampoos and use only herbal powders to wash hair and use above for 6 months without break.
you\'ll definitely see big change in hairline.

also you can refer to these articles for usage of triphala churnam and yoga tricks for quicker results

and

To preserve existing hair from falling out , try this method :

take  1 spoon of triphala churna and soak it in 1 glass (200 ml) water overnight.
in morning boil this water for few minutes and then filter out  the triphala paste.

use the remaining brown color water.
let it become luke warm and then wash your hairline and roots of hair with this warm water.
doing this for 100-120 days will strengthen your existing hair for ever.
this method is good for people with premature grey hair too.

also this warm water can be used to wash eyes if you have strained eyes(over working in front of computer) or dark circles

no oil or any cream applied on scalp will generate new hair
have more proteitn and iron rich food
atleast 10-15gms of protien/day and 50-80mg iron/day

then rub 4 fingernails (except thumb) of both hands against each other for 10 mins/day before breakfast or before dinner.

practice chakrasana or seershasana 2-3 mins/day

and atleast existing hair will be retained.

soya products help in delaying balding because they have natural anti-DHT and also its rich in protien

Come on guys some info is very not realistic here
drink more water well i have a friend who has some stomach /kidney pain issues for drinking more water ..... how much is correct is missing

some one said no wine so that the hair will grow come on pls which analogy says that

some people say henna will make your hair fall while some say no it is good very much confusing....( although I don\'t deny I use henna irrespectively not for hair growth but for to cover my grey hair :-))
we need more traffic on this topic bundle it up!!!

I do not know about food, but using coconut oil and castor oil helps a lot.

My father has been using castor oil since he was 15 or 16 and he's now 58, but still not a single strand is white and not any is falling out. It's all natural , jet black, strong, full, very thick hair. Many people compliment his hair. Using it about twice a week is good.
But beware of the thickness and strong smell. I used it once or twice but I didn't like the smell and its hard to get out of hair.

I use coconut oil on my hair. Once you warm it "just a bit" it will get rid of its smell if you don't like it. I only started using it regularly for about 3 weeks now, and my hair fall stopped rapidly.

My sister used coconut oil mixed with a vitamin E capsule. It's also supposed to be good. I saw that method on TV . My sister is using it and so far so good.

Hope I have been some help to you . :)

One more thing, try to use a shampoo that is mostly natural. Or a home made shampoo.
Shampoos with chemical ingredients tend to cause hair fall and even if there's hair growth, you won't notice it then. Just make sure you use something natural-like shampoo so it won't give you any bad results.

japanese, chinese, koreans have 100-120 gms of soy protein in their food every day.
thats why their skin doesnt age quickly and also we see baldheads rarely in those countries

typical indian vegetarian diet misses out on those protiens an iron.

one should try to have equal gms of protein as much as their body weight in Lbs.
(if your body weight is 120 lbs, have 120 gms of protein everyday)
maintaing this diet for atleast 6 months will solve all hair and skin problems.
most visible change will be removal of dark circles and glowing skin tone

and with this food, try seershasan (daily 5 mins)
or Balayam Yoga for 10-20 mins/day (https://www.astrogle.com/yoga/balayam-yoga-natural-way-to-regrow-lost-hair.html)

i lost few hairs but regained them.
how ? i quit junk food, had atleast 250 ml of soy milk every day, added more iron and protein to diet, and practiced kapalbhati pranayama.
cut my hair short and applied white onion juice daily on scalp and washed with shekai powder after an hr.
twice in a week applied bhringraj oil and everyday did 'balayam yoga' for 15 mins.

6 months later results were seen

if your hair roots are weak or greying prematurely, then take 'bhringraj bhanvati' 2 tablets/day with food

yes. soy milk (many indians may not agree with this) has anti-DHT elements which can help you slow down genetical bandling (in men).
japanese, koreans, chinese have 90-120 gms of soy protein each day and look at their skin, hair etc.
they have developed such genes over many generations
indians developed tasty, junk food like preserved oil soaked pickles, deep fried vegetables, white rice, lots of curd, sugar, salt, masala, spices etc and ended up giving this generation diseases like diabetes, blood pressure, kidney stones, bald heads, pot bellys, arthritis etc
