i wanted to share something i've tried that seems to work. :)
If you want to know if something youre wishing/hoping for will come true then try this- lie down in bed then right before you fall asleep get some lavender and concentrate on your wish while smelling the lavender deeply. do this for a few minutes then put it under your pillow and go to sleep. if you dream about whatever youre wishing for that night then it will come true but if you dont it will not. try it! ;)
you mean lavender flower or any lavender perfume like powder,, oil, incense will work?

fresh or dried lavender flowers is what will work. im sure fresh is best but when i couldnt find any i used dried. dont reuse it either, i think its best to use once and throw out.

sushma, those are saffron flowers from which \'reddish orange\' thread like substance is obtained (you can see dark lines in those flowers posted by you)
and those threads are used as powder for skin care and improved complexion
those are known as kumkum flowers in hindi, which are mixed in milk and given to pregnant ladies so that their kids are born with good complexion and without any skin diseases
what HPG777 referes is lavender which is not native indian flower
its more grown in north india(kashmir etc) where snow falls regularly
cant find it in tropical climate
unfortunately i dont get lavenders in place i live :(

for a small wish to come true, at sunset find some wild sunflowers growing somewhere and while you\'re thinking of the wish, cut one of the sunflowers and your wish should come true before the next sunset!
i tried this once with some sunflowers that were growing on my street and it worked, but only with a small wish, nothing too big

Do you have any other alternative for this Lavender Flower? As Mr.Seetaram said, we don\'t get it in tropical climate. What will we do?? Suggest something else. Also post some of the other interesting things you know too.

gauranggroupsji , when i read this thread , i also wanted to try this trick but as you said , in the beginning it was difficult to find lavenders but then florists had them and i tried this trick :)
maybe you could also contact some florists and they are able to help you , good luck with that
