You\'ve done a nice job by giving the Independence Day Details of the two Countries. If you can find and give for all the other Countries too, it\'ll be more helpful.
If we are not able to find those particulars, we should try with Muhurta and Horary Charts. For the matches involving Poland and Ukraine, checking Muhurta will be easy. But for other Countries playing in neutral grounds, it\'ll be tougher. Still we can try.
based on muhurta chart, 1st match between poland and greece may end as draw, but poland has more advantage as saturn is favorable for libra asc. more than aries asc.

That\'s good. Even I\'ve got details only for those two countries and that\'s why I predicted only for that match. Last night, I tried getting details for other countries too.
Here are the details I\'ve got..
Russia - 25/12/1991; 20:45 hrs LMT; Moscow..
Czech Republic - 01/01/1993; 00:00 hrs LMT; Prague..
Denmark - 15/06/1849; 12:15 hrs; Copenhagen..
After getting these details, I tried checking for the 2nd match too.. I felt the same that Russia had more chances.. Since Bhavani had already predicted the same, there was no necessity for me to predict..

True, Varenya.. It was very slow.. I\'m using a 10 mbps DSL connection.. In that itself, it took 15 - 20 mins to load the site.. It took almost 30 mins to make 1 post..

I think I\'ve got a wrong chart of Sweden. That\'s why, was not able to get it right for yesterday\'s match. Anyway, they\'re out of the tournament now even though they played well yesterday. If France was able to Draw the match, they would\'ve got the opportunity to face Italy. Since they\'ve lost yesterday, they\'re now pitted against a strong Spanish team.

Since we\'re using the national charts, it won\'t be much difficult to predict whether it\'s a home ground or neutral ground. But yes, in other way. Since it\'s a Play-off stage, all the teams are more or less evenly matched. They\'ll also try very hard. Also \'Draw\' is not possible.
Ooopsss.. What a mistake I\'ve done!
The mistake was not with Sweden\'s Chart.. It was mine.. A silly mistake.. I\'ve calculated and noted down everything clearly in my Scribbling Pad.. But while typing, I\'ve made a mistake by interchanging Sweden and France.. I\'ve given inverse predictions.. On that day, Rahu was transiting in 6th H to Sweden and 5th H to France.. So it should help Sweden, naturally..

It\'s very tough to predict this match as the Lagna for both the countries is Virgo and also the Cusps are very similar. Hence the significations are more or less same for both. As Virinchi and Mr.Seetaram used to say, one should have proper history of the queriers to become a good Astrologer. But I don\'t have the history of both these teams. So trying with whatever is there.
The Star Lord is Jupiter. It\'s not favoring anyone, but should be little better for Portugal when comparing with Czech. The Sub Lord during the match will be Rahu and it\'s equally favorable to both. Since Star Lord is a bit favorable to Portugal, Advantage Portugal.

Spain won the game in Penalty Kicks round.
It\'s a good try, Varenya. But we are not able to get it right for the last two matches as we used to calculate only for the main timings. I think we\'ve to calculate till the Penalty Kicks round hereafter as the remaining two matches will also be very tough. If only the significations are very strong(i.e. 1,6 & 11) for one team and weak for the opponent, we can conclude that the game will be over within the main time. Or else, we should calculate for the whole time.

In Italy v England Quarter Finals prediction, Varenya has mentioned a win for Italy in the normal time. He has also mentioned that if the match gets in to extra time, England have chances which was very much possible as the sub will be of retro saturn\'s. He had also asked for others\' opinions too. Even I thought the same as you did. But Astrologers are not considering the date when East Germany and West Germany got united. They\'re all using the above time only. It may be right as we\'re also using a similar one for India. When India got independence, many states were not even included then. But still we are using that time only.

I think you might\'ve considered the Ephemeris with local times. Coz there are few variations in your statement. The match is not starting in Kethu Sub. It\'s totally Venus Sub as it\'s starting from 21:40 hrs. Also as per Placidus House system, Mercury is transiting in the 5th H to Spain and 8th H to Italy.

prof krishnamurti observed that for twins even points in ashtakavarga remain same but only sublords of few cusps change.
so only when studying charts of twins we can neglect this.
IPL teams are twins because most are formed on same date and time, so there we never consider it.
