BJP managed to postpone MCD elections and if they happen between July-December 2022, AAP loses it again. AAP winning punjab was not a surprise as SAD/BJP lost it long back and Congress was divided. However, AAP will not make any impact in Gujarat elections this year. They can only fill the void created by Cong and BJP.
AAP is going through sukra dasa, which ends in 2030 and later this party struggles a lot. Many of its leaders will either go to jail for corruption or jump parties to secure future. In 2024 lok sabha polls, Kejriwal will try to porject himself as a serious competitor, but actual impact will be less. Only Mamata as face of opposition can challenge Modi to some extent. KCR, Stalin, Thackeray etc are of no major impact.
