The person suffering from fever with thirsty, overheat, and headache shall be lay down on fresh lotus leaves and cover the body with the fresh leaves. Using the paste made of lotus flowers as ointment, on chest and head, reduces fever gradually.
Usually these symptoms occur when a person has burning desire inside but is not able to fulfill it.

Take equal quantities of white lotus, white gigantic swallow wort flowers and root. Crush them together and mix ghee. Heat the mix and preserve it. Using this as nasal drops helps in recovery of persons suffering from fits.
