Yogastrology – Asanas (Poses) suitable for your Zodiac Moon Sign or Ascendant

Yogastrology is combination of Yoga & Astrology, which defines certain Yoga Poses for curing common ailments occuring for each Zodiac Moon Sign or Ascendant.
Each Moon Sign will have its own health issues based on its lord and 6th lord. Yogastrology defines perfectly suitable asanas or poses for each sign.
Kalapurusha is defined to have organs from head to toe according to zodiac signs from Aries to Pisces.
Generally, issues occuring in those body parts are common for corresponding signs.
This Yogastrology can be applied for both Ascendants (Lagna) or Rising signs and also for Moon Signs.

Aries : Veerabhadrasana (Warrior Pose) is the best, to be tried in all possible variations (I, II & III).
This will help in stretching the muscles in the legs, back, hips, arms, shoulders and helps to build stamina.
Also, Hatha Yoga can help to some extent.
In general, arians are athletes and they are best suited for jobs that demand physical exercise.
Arians are more prone to headaches, nervous disorders, indigestion and depression.
Also prone to accidents and injuries.

Taurus : As they suffer more from neck, throat, kidney, liver issues.
Vrksasana (Tree Pose) will help them achieve some balance and solve neck issues.
Also, Cow Pose (Bitilasana) can help you slow down and balance your body rhythm.

Gemini : Gemini can have issues with arms, hands, shoulders. They cannot do a routine job which needs them to sit in front of a computer and type for hours.
Halasana (Plough pose), Sarvangasana, Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose) will help them maintain equilibrium.
They should be frequently rotating and relaxing their hands in between work.

Cancer : They will have issues with chest, lungs, digestive system, eyes.
Flatulance, cold, cough are common problems they encounter.
Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose), Pavanmuktasana, Bhujangasana can relieve them to large extent.

Leo : They are prone to spine issues, back pain, heart attacks, blood infections.
Matsyasana (Fish Pose), Marjalasana or Bidalasana (Cat Pose) will improve their blood flow and also open up the jammed joints.
Surya Namaskar 9 times a day during sunrise, will always keep them fit.

Virgo : Most of the virgos suffer from slow bowel movements, indigestion, weak nervous system, frequently infected spleen, intestines and lever.
They are the most delicate humans among all zodiac signs.
Seershasana and Paschimottasana will keep their body fit.

Libra : Most of them have issues with Kidneys, Bladder, Lower Back and Skin.
They love fat, sugary and buttery food. Infact, they love everything that looks good.
To achieve proper balance, they need to practice Pranayama and Navasana or Naukasana (Boat Pose).

Scorpio : They can have ailments of the bladder, genitals, kidneys, liver.
Sometimes they can have pain in lowerback or pelvic region.
Ushtrasana (Camel Pose), Baddha Konasana, Malasana (Garland Pose) will help them reduce all pains.

Sagittarius : Sagittarius rules the thighs, hips, sacral area in the body. They are often prone to sciatica and suffer from joint pains in the hips and thigh region. Also prone to sudden ailments and minor wounds.
Trikonasana (Triangle Pose) and Veerabhadrasana II can help them get some relief.

Capricorn : They can have issues with skin, blood infections, knees, joints and legs.
Their digestive system can also become weak due to their improper diet.
Tadasana (Mountain Pose) and Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (King Pigeon Pose) are best suited for them.

Aquarius : Airy sign aquarius controls the knees, ankles, circulation of blood in the body and everything in the legs.
They are prone to severe cramps in the legs region and even spasms issues in the nervous system, goiter, diarrhea, cirrhosis.
Sethu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose) and Adho Mukha Svanasana (facing down dog pose) can relieve them from joint pains, cramps and weak nerves in legs.

Pisces : They are the most sensitive sign and will pickup every change that occurs in nature.
They rule lymphatic system, the liver, skin, and the feet.
To solve their regularly occuring Inflammation issues, pisceans needs to practice Matsyasana (Fish Pose) which can also balance water in their body.
Also Baddha Konasana (Cobbler Pose) and Balasana (Child’s Pose) can help them to large extent.
